What is Coaxial cable?
v  Coaxial cable consists of copper wire core covered by insulating material.
v  The insulated copper wire is covered by copper mesh. It protects the cable from electromagnetic waves.
v  It is same cable that is used for television. The data transfer rate of coaxial cable is very high.
v  It is used for long distance telephone lines and local area network.
v  It is more expensive than wire.
v  Coaxial cable is kind of copper cable used in older Ethernet network as well as mainframe and minicomputer connection.
